How Series One development is coming and an estimate on when they will be ready for purchase.
Hey! These are all rough estimates. Roadblocks and surprises can happen (and already have) and so take everything here with a grain of salt.
I will make updates here periodically. I will announce on Bluesky whenever I post a new update.
The coding, graphics and just the overall creation of the games themselves.
I said 85% last time, what gives? All games are essentially complete, but I've been reworking Exo Attack. I wasn't happy with how it was turning out. It felt more like a tech demo than a game. The tweaks I have made have improved it greatly. I won't release a game unless I am happy with it.
Despite the change in Exo Attack, I still feel nothing development-wise will delay the release.
The illustrations and overall design of the cards themselves; as well as designing the packaging and anything else along those lines.
Graphic design is completely finished! Woohoo!
To add a bit of variety to the release and because I think this artist does awesome work, I had new Bomb Hunter art made. I'm really happy with how this card turned out!
Printing the cards, die cutting them, having packaging made. All of the things that will allow you to hold this product in your hands.
I am aiming to get the cards printed in about a month. That will be an awesome milestone to reach! That part of manufacturing is looking great.
But ... the packaging side is coming along much slower than I thought it would. Basically the companies that manufacture the packaging options have a long turn around time. I think if anything is going to delay the release, this is it.
So far I have gotten one foil booster pack sample in. It has a few problems, so this is not representative of the final packaging. But it still gives you a decent idea of what I'm shooting for. I'm eagerly awaiting more samples from other companies.
I still feel pretty good about my July estimate. I do think the packaging might delay things. But other than that everything is on track (knock on wood...)
Hey! Keep in mind a July release might not happen! If things get delayed, I really wouldn't be surprised.

The games are wrapping up and most are in the polish stage. I'm confident nothing here will hold up the release. Since this part is so far ahead of everything else, I am taking this opportunity to throw in a couple of small surprises.

My primary strength is coding, so this part comes more slowly. But all is going well and I don't see any roadblocks ... as of now ... :) Each major card has been illustrated. They all need some tweaks and final touches, but the majority is there. There are other things that need illustrations too, so I'm not out of the woods just yet.
I have hired an artist to do one illustration for me. I'm excited because they do great work, more to come.

I am brand spanking new to this aspect, so it is coming along slower than anything else. I hit a few big roadblocks and found myself back at square one more than once. But things are now moving forward. In parallel, I am exploring packaging options and so far so good. Unfortunately there will likely be more surprises and dragons here.
Oh and I have established our packaging and fulfillment center :)
I am putting out an early, low confidence release date of July. If everything keeps going smoothly, I think I will hit this release just fine. But that is a big if :)
Hey! Keep in mind a July release might not happen! The big wild card is manufacturing. As things solidify there, I will be able to provide a much more accurate release date.
