How to play

Your goal is to uncover all tiles in the playfield that do not contain a bomb.

Tiles with numbers in themTiles containing a number indicate how many bombs there are in adjacent tiles.
A flagged tileFlag tiles you've determined are bombs. A flagged tile can't be revealed unless the flag is first removed.

The bomb counterThe bomb counter shows you how many more bombs you need to find. It is based on bombs you have flagged, so it may not be accurate!
The mini mapThe minimap shows you where you are currently located in the overall playfield. Use it to find areas that need more exploring.

Accidentally uncovering a tile that contains a bomb is game over!

Easter Egg

There is a really tiny, and not that interesting, secret in the game. Hold down the left shoulder button, right shoulder button, select and start, then choose either expert (three diamonds) or animal mode. The board will just have 9 bombs in it instead of 99. Easy peasy!

Why? This enabled me to test these more difficult modes more quickly. Cheat codes in games like this back in the day were almost always put there by the devs to make their job easier. They left them in the game as a fun secret, and so I did the same :)

Why am I letting the secret out? Well, how many people are actually going to read this?
