A fresh new take on a PC classic. Seek out the location of all the bombs using the number clues to track them all down. But be careful, one misstep and boom!
Unique to this version is Animal Mode. A fun way to make the expert difficulty more casual.
Playing video games can make your muscles, veins or teeth hurt after a few minutes. Follow these instructions to avoid ailments such as cavaties, tendonitis or rash.
This game is made out of paper and can be damaged easily. To avoid mishap:
Your goal is to uncover all tiles in the playfield that do not contain a bomb.
Accidentally uncovering a tile that contains a bomb is game over!
Animal Mode is a more casual way to enjoy the expert difficulty.
There is a really tiny, and not that interesting, secret in the game. Hold down the left shoulder button, right shoulder button, select and start, then choose either expert (three diamonds) or animal mode. The board will just have 9 bombs in it instead of 99. Easy peasy!
Why? This enabled me to test these more difficult modes more quickly. Cheat codes in games like this back in the day were almost always put there by the devs to make their job easier. They left them in the game as a fun secret, and so I did the same :)
Why am I letting the secret out? Well, how many people are actually going to read this?
